It’s been a while since my last update, so here’s some recent work from the past few weeks. I found some older work from the archive which I will post in the coming week to give a better idea of the broad spectrum of work I do week in and week out.

The sun sets as a patient is unloaded from an air ambulane outside of Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on March 8th, 2010.

University of Western Ontario Mustangs captain Luc Martin (11) shoots the puck through the legs of former London Knight and current UOIT goalie Jason Guy (34) during game 3 of their playoff series at Thompson Arena on Sunday, February 21st, 2010.

Justin Deroy takes a break from his work as a carpenter to talk about a routine surgical procedure that resulted in a possible wrongful diagnosis. After removing a cyst from his neck, his surgeon went on to remove lymph nodes which at the time were thought to contain cancer, after which Deroy was told he only had a short time to live. It was later discovered that the pathology results were wrong, and Deroy was not sick.

A pedestrian walks past Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital in Windsor, Ontario on February 26th, 2010. The hospital, along with two others in the Windsor region, are under scrutiny after it was recently discovered a surgeon made errors in reading pathology reports, resulting in unnecessary masectomys being performed. As a result, around 15,000 pathology reports spanning the past ten years are being investigated.

Guelph Gryphons wrestler Mathieu DesChatelets, bottom, holds Brock Badgers' Ryan McCracken in a body lock during a preliminary matchup at the OUA Wrestling Championships at the Univeristy of Western Ontario's Alumni Hall in London, Ontario on February 20th, 2010.

Cayleigh Whitaker, left, celebrates with team mates during their final home game of the Western Mustangs Women's Volleyball 2009-10 season at Alumni Hall in London, Ontario.
I really like that netcam shot. The Thompson Arena ceiling provides a much better background than I would have expected. Also, is the score 5-0? Ouch, that’s a real beat down.
